The Era of Hatred

I did not live through the Great Depression.  I was an infant when McCarthy reaped his evil havoc.  My mother lived through both.  She passed away last November, but until the end was as sharp as a tack.  I asked her on many occasions "what was worse - the McCarthy era or now".  She did not hesitate with an empaphtic NOW.

In November, 2010, the same month my mother died,  the Tea Party managed a coup of Republican Americans and so-called "independents", including all of those that see themselves as moderate.  The coup was aided and abetted by the apathy of too many Democratic Americans.  They  failed to vote.  The result was not just a takeover of the U.S. House of Representatives, but dozens of states.  We are seeing now some of the most morally bankrupt and anti-democratic legislation being proposed and enacted across this land.  All of it is laden with bizarre, almost surrealistic removal of rights and freedoms for poor, working and middle class Americans.    

The tsunami of hatred against ordinary people is drowning the moral character of our nation. We are in peril of losing our national soul.  The amoral standard appears to be the new normal for those who identify with conservative ideology.   I fear that the only discourse these unfortunate people understand is one that mirrors their own.  I hope it does not come to that.  Now, I must focus on beauty lest I fall prey to hatred.

Teach Walker and Koch About Economics

Here is what we must do immediately

(1) Organize a mass pull out of funds owned by all public sector union members in savings, checking,etc., from all Wisconsin banks and having the same deposited in their respective credit unions.

(2) To the extent members have loans with any of these banks, perhaps the credit union can refinance them so that it deprives the banks of earning interest income.

(4) Identify financial institutions that are labor friendly i.e. credit unions either within or outside of Wisconsin that can offer consumer or home loans should a member need credit.

(5) I saw of list of car dealers that donated money to Walker. All of his financial supporters should be identified and if they have a business, boycotted ASAP.

(6) Brainstorm ideas on how towns, cities, etc, that are labor friendly can possibly make life miserable for Walker's business supporters via zoning and in other ways, relative to any fees they must pay for sewer, water, etc.

From: Average American Citizens

The party is over. We are tired of your toxic tea and antiquated vision of government for and by the rich. We intend to dump your vile brew into America's sewers, from sea to shiny sea. This land is our land. We are taking it back from the plutocrats and their spineless scabby tea party minions. The 400 Americans who have more cash, property and stock then 1/2 of the American population will need to readjust their thinking on what it means to be patriotic. Tea party members, you best wake up to the fact that neither you or your descendants will ever be one of them. You can face the facts or not, but your party is over. The Moral Compass is directing average Americans to take action to defeat you.
